2002 - ongoing
These photographs explore how and to what extent we experience reality.
Much of the images are seen only through the surface of a large bathroom mirror and the haze of steam and condensation which gives some of the photographs a slightly confusing and uneasy space.
For this series young girls are portrayed at the age where they are leaving their childhood behind and trying to find who they are as adults. This piece questions the extent to which we can truly know ourselves. Natural light from a single window gives the only source of illumination.
